We would like to invite all of you who visits this site to our link page. The you tube link is a very special link on one of the things we are involved with. This video link is a prime example of what we as veterans would say "No Vet Will Be Forgotten". We will bring these young men and women home in the greatest form possible. The way they all deserve, for they are the recall American Hero's. Events For The Up Coming Year
As you may have seen, the events for the Fox Valley Marines are starting to come in. The events are all subject to change as the year comes in. So be sure to keep an eye on the events page as time gets closer.
Hoops For Troops
Our 2nd annual Hoops For Troops basketball tournament is scheduled for April 21 & 22 at the Vaughn Center on Indian Tr. in Aurora. This tournament is to help raise money to help the troops and Veterans. This year we have grown from 8 teams to 12 teams. The teams are of the local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, businesses and veteran groups. This tournament is a 2 day tournament. Tickets will be on sale in advance. Donations will be excepted at the door. This is becoming a very good fund raiser for the Fox Valley Marines and they would like to see everyone there.
Pancake Breakfast
The Fox Valley marines are making plans for their Pancake Breakfast. The date is going to be May 6, 2012. Prices and ticket information will be announced soon as the plans come in. They are saying that it will be a wonderful breakfast. Tickets will be available in advance. Please come back for all updates.

The communities around Aurora IL. deserves a very large Thank you for all their support though out the summer. Yes you can say that the Marines are humble. Everyone tells the Marines Thank You for all that you are doing and for serving. We do say your welcome for each of us that has served. It is you the members of all the surrounding communities, that are now serving us or supporting us, in what we are now doing. That is what is now the important thing. If you great people were not supporting us, we would not be around the area doing what we are doing. Raising the funds to support our young men and women fighting for us now. We must never forget about them. So again let us Thank You for your support and hope that you continue to support all our troops and veterans.
The Year In Review
The Fox Valley Marines have reported that this year has been a very good year. The fund raising as been a very good show.
The Fox Valley Marines have elected some new officers for the board. There has been some good ideas being brought to surface. These ideas are in the planning stages and they believe this will make a big difference in the way the detachment will work together. They are still working hard on ideas to bring in new members. They would like to start the growth of members again at an incredible rate if possible.
They had a great time at one of their new fund raiser that was a very good success last spring. plans are being made for next years basketball tournament now. They are also working on a new golf tournament for next year after extensive discussions on getting it started. There has been also alot of talk for the next pancake breakfast. So keep in contact to see how these things come into play.
Over all this year, the Fox Valley Marines have been working hard not only physically but also mentally to come up with new and fresh ideas to make things come together and improve the fund raising events. So if you support the troops be sure to come out to see this great group of Marines, you will like what you see.
